中科院海洋所科研人員利用ZooSCAN圖像掃描技術(shù)估算生物量

ZooSCAN浮游動(dòng)物圖像掃描分析系統主要用于對液體中的浮游動(dòng)物樣品進(jìn)行計數、大小測量、種類(lèi)鑒定以及生物量測定。

ZooSCAN系統是由ZooSCAN、ZooProcess和Plankton Identifer (PkID)等共同組成的,ZooSCAN是硬件部分,主要進(jìn)行浮游動(dòng)物樣品掃描,形成數字圖像。ZooProcess和PkID是軟件部分,分別以標準化的程序處理原始圖像、對不同個(gè)體的形態(tài)參數進(jìn)行自動(dòng)測量和對圖像中的浮游動(dòng)物進(jìn)行自動(dòng)分類(lèi)和計數。其基本工作流程包括:1)掃描空白背景;2)掃描樣品,獲得原始圖片和元數據信息;3) 通過(guò)ZooProcess軟件,標準化原始圖片,提取并測量圖片中不同個(gè)體的形態(tài)參數;4) 通過(guò)PkID 軟件建立圖像培訓數據庫并進(jìn)行性能驗證;5) 針對已掃描的樣品圖像,進(jìn)行浮游動(dòng)物的自動(dòng)識別,獲得不同類(lèi)群浮游動(dòng)物的數量;6) 形態(tài)學(xué)參數的提取與分析,可進(jìn)一步獲得樣品的粒徑組成、生物學(xué)體積等信息。


應用領(lǐng)域:生態(tài)學(xué)調查、漁業(yè)、水產(chǎn)養殖、教育。


近年,中國科學(xué)院海洋研究所科研人員利用ZooScan圖像掃描技術(shù),建立膠州灣浮游動(dòng)物優(yōu)勢種中華哲水蚤和強壯箭蟲(chóng)體長(cháng)、面積和體積與干重之間的回歸關(guān)系。比較了不同季節、不同參數之間的差異。結果表明,不同月份的回歸關(guān)系之間無(wú)顯著(zhù)差異,在三個(gè)體型參數中,面積擬合生物量的程度最好,是利用圖像方法估算生物量最佳參數。中華哲水蚤和強壯箭蟲(chóng)體型-生物量轉換關(guān)系可以分別表示為:lgDW=1.61lgA+1.69,lgDW=1.54lgA+1.32。


廠(chǎng)家對ZooSCAN進(jìn)行了全面的升級換代,鑒于工作需要,中國科學(xué)院海洋研究所再次選購1套ZooSCAN浮游動(dòng)物圖像掃描分析系統,極大地增強了海洋所膠州灣生態(tài)環(huán)境研究的能力。
